At Immanuel, we encourage visitors to attend regularly for a season to gain an understanding of what the church believes and how it functions.

Introducing Immanuel is a quarterly Sunday luncheon that we host to teach visitors about our history, beliefs, values, and the function and leadership of the church.

After someone has attended for a season, we encourage them to meet with a pastor. In this meeting, they will share their testimony and give a brief explanation of the gospel.

If a prospective member is not a new believer, we will contact their former church to verify they are in good standing with that church as they seek to transfer membership to our church. If the prospective member is a new believer, they will come into membership through baptism.

After meeting with the prospective member and talking with their former pastor, the pastors will recommend the prospective member for church membership to the congregation.

The prospective member will take vows before the church, reaffirming publicly their faith in Jesus as Lord while committing themselves to the care and service of the local church.

Introducing Immanuel is one of the requirements for church membership. It is a meeting for prospective members and guests to hear from the pastors about visions, values, doctrinal beliefs, the church's history, opportunities to serve, and how to connect. It takes place after Sunday services at 12 p.m. on select dates, and a meal is provided.
